🐴 Horse Training Policy Welcome to our training program! Our goal is to support each horse’s development through a structured, consistent, and thoughtful training approach. To ensure clear communication and the best possible care, please review the following policies. 📅 Scheduling & Consistency Consistency is key — horses in training are expected to remain on a regular schedule to ensure steady progress. Any changes to your horse’s schedule must be communicated at least 7 days in advance. 💰 Rates & Billing Training is billed monthly and includes regular work, care, and updates. Payment is due by the 1st of each month unless otherwise arranged. Late payments may incur a late fee of $25/day after a 7-day grace period. Additional services (vet work, bodywork, farrier, hauling, etc.) will be billed separately. 📝 Training Expectations Horses entering training should arrive in good health and with current vaccinations, deworming, and farrier care. Owners are responsible for disclosing any behavioral, soundness, or medical history prior to training. We believe in developing horses through thoughtful, fair, and progressive methods. Harsh training methods are not used or tolerated. 🐎 Owner Communication Owners will receive regular updates on their horse’s progress through text or in-person check-ins. We encourage owners to schedule periodic lessons or visits to stay involved in their horse’s training journey. 🚫 Cancellations & Holds Training spots are limited. If you need to pause or withdraw from training, please provide 30 days’ notice. Missed training days due to owner cancellation, farrier, vet, or weather are not refundable but may be rescheduled when possible. In case of injury or illness, we will adjust the training plan as appropriate and communicate with your vet if needed. 🧾 Liability & Veterinary Care All horses in training must have a current signed Liability Waiver and Training Agreement on file. In case of injury or illness, the veterinarian will be contacted immediately. Owners are financially responsible for all veterinary costs. We reserve the right to make decisions regarding emergency care if the owner cannot be reached. ✨ Our Commitment We treat each horse as an individual and prioritize their physical and mental well-being. Thank you for trusting us with their care and development — we look forward to partnering with you to bring out the best in your horse.
